Our Land Development Group has long-term core clients who are developing some of the most interesting and challenging projects in the state, including single and multi-family residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, educational and industrial. While applying technical, engineering knowledge and skills, this position will:Be responsible for coordinating civil development service efforts with a team of Engineering, Planning and Survey leads including other in-house service groups.Be able to self-perform design and lead design teams consisting of engineers, surveyors, designers, drafters, and planning support personnel when required.Prepare and coordinate technical activities as well as peer review for Quality Control purposes.Lead agency interaction or partner with planning and surveying for acquiring needed permits and approvals.Communicate with clients, sub-consultants, contractors and others as required to complete projects.Coordinate construction and work in the field as needed for development projects.Participate in all phases of project development, planning, permitting, design, and construction.Collaborate with other engineers, architects, planners, sub-consultants, and public agencies on projects. Attend public meetings, public forums, and open houses to discuss project details and answer questions, as required.Be responsible to develop and implement design solutions for various project applications. Requirements:Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain one in Washington within 1-year of starting work)5-8 years of civil engineering design experience, specifically in land development related areas.AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is required.
