Vice President of Nursing - - -Department: Nursing Division - - -Reports to: Chief Medical Officer - - -Classification: Exempt-Executive - - -Employment: Full-Time, Onsite (Yakima Center) - - -Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - - -The Vice President of Nursing (VPN) leads nursing operations across various programs, ensuring high-quality, client-centered care. This role focuses on leadership, clinical oversight, staff development, client advocacy, budget management, and collaboration. - -In this role you will: - - -

• Provide strategic direction and oversight of nursing policies and standards. - - -
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance patient outcomes and safety. -
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and evaluate clinical performance metrics. - - -
      • Integrate evidence-based practices and new technologies in care delivery. -
        • Foster professional growth through education and mentorship. - - -
          • Work with HR on recruitment and performance evaluations. -
            • Ensure client-centered services and advocate for client rights. - - -
              • Develop individualized care plans and support recovery principles. - -
                • Manage the nursing department's budget and staffing levels for optimal care. -
                  • Act as a liaison among nursing staff, physicians, and administration. - - -
                    • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders. -We are looking for someone who: - -
                      • Holds a master's degree in nursing or related field (DNP preferred) - - -
                        • Current RN license in Washington State - - -
                          • 10+ years nursing experience, including 5+ years in leadership within behavioral health - - - -
                            • Is comfortable in a Clinical environment with exposure to diverse client conditions. - -
                              • -Able to exert up to 20 pounds occasionally -
                                • Able to travel 5% - 25% outside Yakima County.
